Buggyverse Room Rules

Buggyverse is a study-first community. Keep it respectful, focused, and safe. Violations can lead to warning, suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity and repetition.

Accountability/scolding features are policy-enforcement tools for productivity and community safety. They are not medical or crisis services. Related snapshots are temporary and deleted after short-term enforcement processing.

Basic Rules

  1. Breaking any rule may lead to immediate action, including permanent ban.
  2. No ban/timeout evasion through alternate accounts or cross-platform evasion.
  3. Staff may take any action required to keep the platform safe and productive.
  4. Use Buggyverse in compliance with applicable laws and platform safety policies.
  5. You must be at least 13 and meet your country’s minimum digital consent age.
  6. Help uphold the culture: encourage rules, don’t undermine them.
  7. Do not abuse reports (spam, fake reports, or false allegations).

User Privacy

  1. No phishing or attempts to extract private information.
  2. Do not record, screenshot, or photograph others in study sessions.
  3. Do not share others’ private information without permission.
  4. Do not publish identifying/personal information.
  5. No impersonation of staff or members.

Study Room Rules

  1. Study rooms are for studying/productive work. Leave when doing unrelated activities.
  2. No disruptive noise. Keep your mic muted or reduce background noise.
  3. Use proper video/screenshare etiquette: no smoking, vaping, alcohol/drugs, explicit/inappropriate visuals, or distracting streams.

Chat Rules

  1. No suicidal references or jokes. Seek professional help if needed.
  2. No swearing/cursing.
  3. No spam, excessive messaging, walls of text, or emoji flooding.

General Rules

  1. Agree to disagree. Keep disagreements respectful.
  2. No trolling.
  3. No direct/indirect self-promotion, server invites, surveys, or paid tuition promotion.
  4. Protect academic integrity: no cheating or “do my homework” services.
  5. No irrelevant or unwelcome DMs.
  6. No creeping behavior in rooms or DMs. This is a study community, not a dating app.
  7. No harassment, abuse, insults, threats, or personal attacks.
  8. No offensive or derogatory content.
  9. No discriminatory content or hate speech.
  10. No NSFW or sexually explicit content.
  11. No NSFL or disturbing content.
  12. No discussion/display/promotion of firearms or weapons.
  13. No discussion/display/promotion of recreational drugs.
